Bugsy!

Seeing this picture of Bridger made the last 4 weeks of a self-inflicted insane life all worth it. Sometimes laughter is really the best medicine. As SKL would say, "This Kid!"

More to come...

Harvest Season with Taft

With Taft's preschool class we soaked up the season at Windmill Farms. I love this time of year, minus the Halloween bit. I do enjoy seeing my kids all dressed up being silly characters, but getting to that point is a different story. Taft has always been a sweet boy, and now that he's outgrown his whinning stage, we have a good time together while the girls are at school. His new thing is to say, "Gracias." And of course I have to say "De Nada."
Thanks to a good friend who knows when a Mama needs of cute picture with her son:)

It's now past midnight and if the embellishing of this blog was an art or sewing project, it would be long gone in the trash by now. If I hadn't given a lesson in R.S. today about what matters most, I would sign up for a blogging 101 class at Yavapai ( I wonder if they offer classes like this, hmmm.) So, does anyone know how to get rid of the little tool icon next to all of my widgets? Also, is there a way to get "Studio Nic" in the middle of the fancy little banner from Shabby Blogs?

Bridger- 7 months

Getting this picture taken was like getting on the scales. Week after week I kept putting off trying on his blessing outfit thinking it wouldn't fit him anymore and I wouldn't have a picture of him in it. After our many summer travels I came home and thought, " just try it on him." Ah ha, it fits!! Bridger is such a smiley baby that these pics didn't take long to shoot. We call him "Big Chubby" due to his thighs that get stuck in the Bumpo and he's quite the early riser. We spent last week in Lake Powell and I could hear him cooing in his pack-in-play before the morning dawn beamed in on us as we slept up top. He sits in his bumpo and squawks at us for real food at the dinner table and loves to cuddle. We think he's pretty special!

Of course I didn't take these pics, Meg did. Check her out at www.holdsworthphotography.com

Thanks Meg!!

Bridger

I just can't get enough of this kid! He is, as Coco would say, my "Angel Baby," and thank goodness, heaven knows I might not make it if this baby wasn't so good. He's super cuddly, loves to giggle, and has the biggest eyeballs our family has ever seen. He reminds us of Bugsy on Bedtimes Stories, aka by my kids as Raining Gumballs. "Those eyes would be big on a Cow!" We love him and can't get enough of his sweetness. (Thanks Sab for the pic)

Bountiful Baskets

It's funny what can bring one out of blog hibernation. I can feel my foot in the stirrup, urging me to get back to the blog, get back in the saddle. Whatever, I don't even like horses- got bucked off as a child and laughed at while it happened by my father (need counseling about this), and just after I got engaged, found out about JBrett's love for the animal as he pulled a Jim Craig and took his Jessica for a mountain ride as she went into anaphalactic shock. Ha, Ha. Anyway, I've been itching to blog and my Saturday score seemed worthy of a post.
I always get a good laugh at those blogs where people people are fanatical about coupons, clip them like crazy, go to 4 different store, and come home with like, 100 $ worth of toaster strudel, mayonnaise, and anti- fungal toe cream for only 10$. I just don't know how they do it. Unfortunately, there are not many coupons out there for the produce section. Of course we all know I pack more than a few extra #'s, but I still love my fruits and veggies. I can go to Costco and spend 75$ in produce. Not anymore!! Thanks to Dawn and I'm sure a few other great women I can't name, Bountiful Baskets is now in Prescott. I was so impressed with what I received for just 15$ last Saturday that I thought it was worthy of a post and picture. I highly encourage all of you to check this out and see if it is in your area!
6/23- Just found out Bountiful Baskets is coming to BOUNTIFUL, UT.
All you B girls check it out!!!
